Raised in the south, interior designer Stan Topol spent the early summers of his career in New York assisting Billy Baldwin who many consider to have been the dean of Amercan Interior Design. Mr. Topol founded the award winning design firm of Stan Topol & Associates, Inc. in the mid 1970's. In conjunction with his strong commitment to education, during the early years of his career Mr. Topol also headed the Interior design program at the Art Institute of Atlanta and later was in charge of the curriculum for the entire institution.

The current team at Stan Topol & Associates began when Reynolds Brown, Vice President, joined the firm in 1985. Reynolds is a graduate of Georgia Tech with an undergraduate degree in architecture. Cynthia Kirkland started her career with the firm in 1987 and is currently a senior designer and project leader. Cindy holds a bachelors degree from Florida State University in interior design. Doyle Garland, an interior design graduate from Georgia State University, came on board in 1996 as an assistant designer. Doyle is now a senior designer and project leader as well.

Stan Topol & Associates' distinctive style and signature work has been chronicled in countless publications including Atlanta Magazine, Southern Magazine, Southern Accents, Interiors of the World, Elle Decor, Veranda magazine and Architectural Digest.
